Four String Space Ritual Release

Four String Space Ritual Release

Join us for the release of Space Ritual, Belgian Rye Pale Ale, Saturday March 5 at our 6th Ave Taproom. Space Ritual is a reference to a Hawkwind record as Lemmy was in Hawkwind before Motörhead, and we wanted name a beer as a tribute to him.

“From the realms beyond the sun, we give you everything all at once. Trappist yeast, 50% rye malt, toasted American oak, piles of tropical American hops, and you, in blissful weightlessness. As we spin through the night, with the ever increasing might of Space Ritual” 4.5% ABV, 25 IBU

Four String beer now available at the Schott!

The next time you head to a game at the Schottenstein Center, keep your eyes open for Four String Brewing Co. Beer and wine will be available at basketball and hockey games at the Schott, and they’re focusing on local options, which includes Four String Brass Knuckle Pale Ale.

“I felt like we finally made it,” said Dan Cochran, the owner of Four String Brewing Company. “It’s a really big deal they’re allowing beer at the Shoe and it’s exciting their using local companies.”

Cochran said having his beer sold at Buckeye games introduces his company to lots of people.

Ohio State said it wanted to include local drink options, especially from people with ties to the university.

“I never imagined it,” Cochran said. “I’m actually an alumnus of OSU. I graduated in the Class of ’95 and to have our beer at the Schott and the Shoe is really exciting.”

Four String Brewing Co. SOLO Series Beers

SOLO Series #24: Troika Belgian Tripel

“The Trappist monks at Westvleteren first brewed their strong golden Abbey style ale to compete with the then increasing fame of pilsner. They produced a beer that didn’t taste anything like the famous golden lager of Eastern Europe, but it looked quite a bit like it and was fantastic! Tripels are relatively light in body and golden in color but are very complex with aromas that include banana, cotton candy, bubble gum, and clove. Don’t be fooled by the pale color of this beer. One taste and the alcoholic strength will be evident. This complex golden ale is very, very strong!”

9.4% ABV, 28 IBU
